Who We Are
Kimo is a California-based wine collector and enthusiast who turned a lifelong passion into something meant to be shared.
What began as enjoyment grew into a 30+ year journey of tasting, learning, and collecting. Over time, friends and fellow enthusiasts regularly sought Kimo out for wine recommendations and wine travel advice.
A transformative trip to Bordeaux, France deepened that passion and inspired him to pursue formal wine study at the Napa Valley Wine Academy, where he earned WSET sommelier status. That experience solidified what he already believed: wine is endlessly fascinating—and endlessly teachable.
Soon after, Grapeolicious was created.
Kimo understands that everyone starts as a beginner. Palates differ. Preferences evolve. And most importantly, no two wine journeys look the same.
